I, Shaheen Akhter MWL (Media Secretary of Alum Rock B’ham) held a very lively, exciting Mawlid Mehfil at my house on the 25th of December 2015. I thank Allah Subhan WaTala and His Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who has blessed me and my family with such a special event. No doubt that everyone who celebrates Mawlid Shareef are blessed and chosen by Prophet Muhammed ﷺ to celebrate His Birth.

Maaria Ashraf recited part of Surah Yaseen in a most beautiful voice, her Tilawat was soul-stirring, then Maaria continued with a Naat ‘Sab se aula-o-alaa humaara nabi’.Sister Saba also recited some Naats in her amazing voice as did I. The Mehfil was livened up when everyone from the audience asked to participate in reciting Naat Shareef.

On the 24th of December , sister Abida Mughal MWL (Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock B’ham), Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Assistant of Alum Rock B’ham), Sister Kousar Abbas MWL, Sister Najma and Sister Hurmat all held a joint mehfil, Masha Allah , celebrating  the Birth of the Beloved Holy prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH , at Minhaj-ul-Quran. There was over three hundred ladies present. May Allah Subhan WaTala bless them all and their families with health and imaan for celebrating this special occasion.

28th November:
Many many congratulation to Sister Nazmeen who started a new Halaqa Durood Shareef Mehfil on the 28th of November 2015 where Masha Allah 70,000 Durood-e-Paak was recited by her family and friends. Sister Nazmeen did Tilawat-e-Quran-e-Majeed, recited a Hadith and read from Irfan-ul-Quran and concluded the Mehfil with Dua and Salaam. This Halaqa's commencement was initiated by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Assistant of Alum Rock Birmingham).

Tuesday the 15th of December 2015, also the 3rd of Rabi-ul-Awwal was marked by memorable Mawlid at Sister Rukhsana Parveen’s MWL (President of Alum Rock B’ham) house to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Sister Rukhsana was an amiable host, warm welcoming and ensured the celebratory atmosphere was maintained throughout upon entering the house, merry atmosphere was presented with numerous light-up ornaments displayed throughout, such as the shape of The Prophet ﷺ footprint. There was also tasbihs made available to everyone so the ladies could recite praise upon The Prophet ﷺ.

On the 14th of December 2015 , Sister Rukhsana Begum MWL (Membership Secretary of Alum Rock B’ham) held a Halqa Durood at her house with the will of Allah Subhan WaTala and the waseela of Prophet Muhammed ﷺ. May Allah Subhan WaTala bless Sister Rukhsana and her family for holding these gatherings weekly.

On the 16th of November 2015 Halqa Durood Mehfil was held at Sister Rukhsana Begum’s house MWL (Membership Secretary of Alum Rock Bham). The ladies recited Durood Shareef first twenty minutes in silence, followed by beautiful Tilawat by Sister Rukhsana and Naat Shareef by Sister Aisha. Sister Rukhsana Begum talked about Shahadat Imam Hussain (AS)) from Dr Muhammed Tahir-ul-Qadri’s book in Urdu and how Imam Hussain (AS) left this as world as a martyr. She explained that Allah SWT says in The Holy Quran that Martyrs are still alive after they leave this world and go straight to the highest ranks in Jannah SubhanAllah. Dua and Salaam was done by Sister Rukhsana Begum.

On the 14th of December 2015 , Sister Sabira Bibi held a Imaan Study Circle at her house with the will of Allah Subhan WaTala and His Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .

Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock B’ham) who helped to set up the Imaan Study Circle began with a beautiful recitation from the Quran-E-Majeed, then SisterSabira Bibi recited a Naat Shareef in a melodious voice.

With the grace of Allah Almighty, on the 1st of November Minhaj Women’s league (Alum Rock) had organised a Sayyeda Zainab (RA) conference. Which took place at Minhaj-ul-Quran Birmingham. The conference began with a peaceful recitation from The Glorious Quran by youth sister Amina Ishtiaq. The conference was hosted by Sister Rabia Khanam (MWL Alum Rock Welfare Secretary). A few Naats and manqabats were recited by some of the sisters.
