Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri meets MWL Manchester tanzeems [UK Tour 2016]


By the grace of Almighty Allah and the blessings of the Prophet Peace and blessings upon Him on the 24th February 2016 Minhaj Women League Manchester, MWL Cheetham Hill Manchester MWL Bolton Manchester and MWL Crumpsall organised a visit at the Central Mosque, Madina Hall, 122 Withington Road Manchester.

This event was organised for Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, the beloved son of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and the President of Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International to present the activities of Minhaj Women Leagues and their future goals.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-din Qadri was welcomed with flowers.

Sister Nasreen Akhtar MWL North Zone President coordinated the event with brief introductions of the works of the Minhaj Women Leagues.

Sister Saima Hussain MWL Manchester General Secretary spoke about her team and represented new members in. She spoke about the monthly Halaqat-e-Durood. She also spoke about the charitable work MWL Manchester carry out for different projects such as collective qurbani, Aghosh orphan Trust.

Sister Sidra President MWL Cheetham Hill spoke about her teams work and history.

This team started 6 months ago with the help of Sister Asifa Uppal Dawah Secretary MWL Manchester.

MWL Cheetham Hill have carried out 12 days of Halqat-e-Durood in Ramadan and how their work had been highlighted in the media through reports on the MQI Website. She spoke about the work they are currently doing for projects within MWF.

Sister Bushra President MWL Crumpsall spoke about her team.

Her team was set up in August 2015.

They are also carrying out the Halqat-e-Durood which involves Hamds, Naats and speeches by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Sahibzada Dr Hassan suggested some changes within the format of the Halqat-e-Durood to include the recitation of a chosen topic from literature and then to have a discussion about that topic.

Sister Shazia MWL Bolton President spoke about her team. She highlighted that her team were working closely with local schools to engage them to roll out the Peace and Education Curriculum published by Shaykh-ul-Islam. She reflected on the positive feedback given by the schools.

The program was ended with a Dua made by Shaykh Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-din Qadri and a cake was cut to celebrate Quaid day.

Sister Nasreen Akhtar MWL North Zone President thanked the Shaykh for a portion of his valuable time.
