Monthly Halqa-e-Durood & Mehfil-e-Dhikr – Saturday 19th November 2016.

Saturday 19th November 2016 | 19 Safar 1438AH | at Ashton Central Mosque.

Organised jointly by Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International and Minhaj Women League (Ashton-Under-Lyne).

The monthly Halqa-e-Durood and Mehfil-e-Dhikr gathering was held at Ashton Central Mosque on Saturday 19th November 2016.  This monthly congregation at the Mosque heartened families to honorably partake in sending invocations and salutations for the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (sallā llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam).

The gathering began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Hafiz Abdul Kareem and a young member of the congregation Br. Adam Hussain.  Subsequently Allama Qari Zahid Sharif Rizvi (Imam & Teacher at Ashton Central Mosque) led the communal recital of Qasīdat al-Burda to honor the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).  Followed by a collective recitation of Durood Shareef led by Haji Muhammad Ashfaq Warsi (President MQI-Ashton).

The Wazaif given by Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for all Halqa-e-Durood gatherings was then recited by the congregation and led by Allama Qari Zahid Sharif Rizvi.  Each member of the gathering were given printed copies of the Wazaif and eagerly followed the recitation.

After that, there was a break for the completion of Isha prayer.

Then a Na’at was recited in praise of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by Allama Qari Zahid Sharif Rizvi, which nicely led on to the spiritual Mehfil-e-Dhikr conducted by Haji Muhammad Ashfaq Warsi.  Whom then also recited a Manqabat and Na’at leading on to the collective Salaat-ul-Salam for the Holy Prophet (SAW).

The gathering concluded with the final supplication conveying all recitations of Durood-e-Paak brought to the gathering and additional Wazaif read for the Holy Prophet (SAW), the Ahl al-Bayt and especially for the ill, poor and less fortunate people of this world. Additionally, a prayer was read for the health of Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.  Fateha and prayers were offered for Haji Abdul Sattar sb (elder brother of Professor Nisar Ahmed Sulaimani sb.), whom had passed away the day before, as well as for Dr Mona Hassan of Ashton who had also passed away on the day of the event.

In total 390,185 Durood Shareef Recitations were gathered on this occasion and have been forwarded to the Minhaj-ul-Qur'an International Central Collection of Durood Shareef.

By the end of the gathering there were approximately 120 attendees, with an equal split between males and females. The event was appreciated as a family gathering with a very blessed conclusion and duration.

Tabbaruk was distributed after the gathering's conclusion and was greatly appreciated by all the attendees of the Ashton Central Mosque.

MQI (Ashton) President Haji Muhammad Ashfaq Warsi thanked all attendees and announced that the next Monthly Halqa-e-Durood Gathering, will accompany the annual Mawlid gathering organised by MQI Ashton, and will take place on: Friday 16th December 2016, at Ashton Central Mosque.
