We held our monthly Gosha-e-Imaan programme at Corbett Street mosque in Smethwick. We started our gathering at 2pm, Sister Shamaila Ali and Sister Nabila Bibi (General Secretary of Sandwell Minhaj Women League) were appointed to be the stage secretaries for the programme. Sister Aisha Kosar was invited to start the programme with the recitation of The Holy Quran.
On Thursday 22nd of May a Halqa-E-Durood gathering was held at Baji Shanaz's (Welfare Secretary Sandwell Minhaj Women League) house in West Smethwick. We started the gathering with the recitation of The Holy Quran which was recited beautifully by Baji Shanaz herself. We then moved onto reciting Nasheeds, the Nasheeds were recited by various ladies who attended.
On Monday 20th of April a Halqa-e-Durood gathering was performed at Sister Shanaz's house in Smethwick. We started the blessed gathering with recitation from the Glorious Quran, followed by Nasheeds recited by a few sisters who attended. Sister Shanaz did a talk from Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's book 'Maloomate Milaad'.
On Monday 2nd March 9 sisters attended a gathering at Sister Nasrin’s house who lives in Smethwick. The gathering started promptly at 11am with the recitation of The Glorious Quran, Nasheeds were recited, Durood shareef then Zikr, also followed by Hadith from Al-Minhaj al- Sawi, a talk in Urdu from Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's book 'Maloomat e Milad' by Sister Sadia Bibi who is the Dawah secretary for Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League.
On Sunday 26th April Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League organised a gathering at the local mosque. The sisters named the event 'Falsafa Miraaj-ul-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم' because we have entered The Holy month of Rajab and were also teaching from this book written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir Ul Qadri in Urdu. On the day our stage secretary was sister Shamila and sister Nabila Bibi. We started off with Tilawat which was recited by sister Aamina. A couple of Nasheeds were recited by a couple of the attendees.
On Sunday 22nd of March Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League organised a Gyarweeh Shareef gathering at Corbett Street mosque in Smethwick. We started off with Tilawat which was recited by Sister Nabila, followed by nasheeds by a few sisters. On the day Sister Nabila was our stage secretary, she introduced everyone on to the stage.
With the help of Almighty Allah and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and on his family) 10 sisters attended this gathering. The gathering started promptly at 1pm with recitation of the Glorious Quran, Nasheeds were recited, Darood shareef then zikr, also followed by 2 hadith from Minhaj Savi, Qaseeda burda shareef and a short talk in Urdu from Shaykh-Ul-Islam's book 'Maloomate Milad' by sister Nabila Bibi (Dawah Secretary Sandwell Minhaj Womens League) was delivered. Darood shareef was recited 9000 times as well.
