On 10 March 2013, Minhaj-ul-Quran International organised its first fundraiser for the new mega project at the Rio Grande venue in Bradford, UK. The new mega project is a multi-million pound project of Minhaj-ul-Quran making it the biggest and most expensive venture. The new development will be of the biggest centres of Minhaj-ul-Quran outside of Pakistan. The project is being headed by Allama Afzal Saeedi, President of MQI UK and is under the guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam himself.
What We Do
To meet the requirements of the modern reader, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has intended for this translation of the Holy Qur’an to be fully interpretive, while ensuring its compatibility with the exegetic traditions laid down by the Companions of the Holy Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him), their Successors and Followers and the Imams that followed them in later centuries.

Al-Minhaj al-Sawi is the first Hadith compendium to be compiled for 700 years after Mishkat al-Masabih of Imam Muhammad Khatib Al-Tabrizi or Imam al-Nawawi's Riyadh al-Salihin. 8th Nov, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri speaks at Georgetown University in the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding
10th Nov, Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered a special lecture on “Islamic Concept of Jihad” at the United States Institute of Peace, a prestigious think-tank.
Following the successful anti-terrorism fatwa in March 2010 and anti-terror summer camp in August 2010, a leading Islamic authority Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri spoke at the GPU event on Sunday 24 October 2010 and condemned terrorism and suicide bombings and urged audience to stand up against terrorism.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK held a seminar at the House of Commons to explore solutions to tackle non-violent extremism and radicalism in Britain. The audience included representatives of think tanks, police, FCO, DCLG, embassy officials and different organisations.
The senior minister for foreign affairs of Singapore, Mr Zain-ul-Abidin Rasheed, had a private meeting with Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at the Minhaj-ul-Quran International London office.
