MQI High Wycombe visited as part of the MQI UK NEC National Tour - South England leg

Monday 2nd May 2011, the NEC (National Executive Council) of MQI UK led by President MQI NEC UK, Shaykh Muhammad Afzal Saeedi visited MQI High Wycombe as part of its National Tour – South England leg.  The NEC met with the voluntary workers of MQI High Wycombe.

Muhammad Rafiq Habib Al-Azhari, a graduate of Minhaj University Lahore, and Vice Principal (Academic) College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Minhaj University has recently received his PhD Degree from the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education Dundee, University of Aberdeen, Scotland UK.

Shaykh-ul-Islam delivers a landmark speech in Al-Azhar University

Speaking to a large audience which consisted of mainly learned scholars, teachers, heads of departments including Vice Chancellor of Grand Al Azhar University, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said ”Without believing in the authority of all Hadith books (especially Sihah Sitta), we cannot understand, reject or challenge the authenticity of Hadith Books other than Bukhari and Muslims. Those who do so are actually misguided people. He said that the status of Hadith-in-Sahih and Daeef has been wrongly interpreted in the last century. It makes no difference to the status of Hadith weather it is mentioned in Bukhari or Muslims or not.

MYL-S Executive's 5th week of tour continues with Waltham Forest

The fifth weekend of the Executive Tour coincided with the Easter weekend and the Executive made their way to Waltham Forest in London.

Sunday 27th June 2011: Professor 'Abd al-Fadeel al-Qawsi, a senior delegate of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Vice Chair of WAAG International alongside Professor Usama Yasin and Professor Abdu Daim al Naseer visited and met with key office bearers and volunteers of MQI and MWF in Nelson, UK.
