Minhaj-ul-Quran strongly condemns obnoxious anti-Islam drive by the enemies of humanity

E-mail Print PDF

The making of blasphemous film and subsequent publication of obnoxious cartoons is not only a step aimed at hurting the emotions of 1.5 billion Muslims in the world but also a heinous conspiracy to damage the global peace and harmony. All three religions namely Islam, Christianity and Judaism revolve around the personages of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), Jesus Christ (P.B.U.H) and Musa (P.B.U.H). Both the Holy Quran and the Bible not only condemn such sacrilegious acts but also regard them as the biggest crime of universe because it is not only the Holy Quran but also the Bible which was the first Book, which condemned and forbade blasphemy of Prophets and Divine Books. The 13–16 and 23 verses of Old Testament in chapter 24 titled Leviticus hold that the punishment for blasphemy of God and the Prophets is death in categorical terms. In other words, the Bible manifestly describes capital punishment as the punishment of blasphemy and Musa (P.B.U.H) got the blasphemers stoned.
