LONDON, Oct 25 (APP)-A leading Islamic authority Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has condemned terrorism and suicide bombings and urged the Muslims to stand up against the twin menace.The founder of the Pakistan-based Minhaj-ul-Quran spoke at the Global Peace and Unity Conference in East London last night and said Islam stands for peace, love, compassion, human dignity and mercy. He said “Islam does not stand for any kind of violence, militancy, terrorism, brutality.” Earlier, in March this year, he launched successful anti-terrorism fatwa and organised anti-terror summer camp in August.
