On Thursday 24th January 2013 (12th Rabi ul Awwal) after Namaz-e-Isha at 7pm the Minhaj-ul-Quran International Halifax team organised the Milad-un-Nabi SAW and Long March victory Celebration event at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Education Centre Halifax. The special guest of the evening was Allama Afzal Saeedi al-Azhari, President Minhaj-ul-Quran UK.

As stated by Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri the motto of Minhaj-ul-Quran is ‘to spread the love’ love for Allah (S.W.T) Love for the Prophet (P.B.U.H), Love for Ahlul bait, Love for Sahaba, Love for Pious people, Love for the whole humanity, even Love for animals and plants’, therefore the Minhaj Dawah Project felt it was a necessity to spread this love over aspects of society where cracks had formed, hope was lost and good morals had been laid to rest.

MYL-S Bradford wins “The Big Challenge 2012”

Muslim Youth League Sisters of Bradford won “The Big Challenge2012”organised by the Bradford council on Saturday 6th October 2012; in an attempt to increase diversity and multi cultural interaction between various communities in Bradford. This was indeed a great effort to bring together a diversity of people, from different walks of life and cultures and put them in teams, the team members were to eventually build confidence and trust in each other, learn new skills and also meet new people from different walks of life and make friends!

Monthly Dars Irfan-ul-Quran and Halaqa-e-Durood commences in Blackburn

This month’s Dars e Irfan ul Quran and Halqa e Darood was held at Haji Yakoob sahib’s residence on 02/09/2012 at around 19:00. As members of MQI Blackburn agreed in a recent meeting that both; the  Dars e Irfan ul Quran and Halqa e Darood  will be held every month as a one unit, this was followed.

Every year Minhaj-ul-Quran International Walsall runs Radio Ramadhan for the whole of the holy month of Ramadhan.  It proves both successful for the mosque and beneficial for the community.  As always various Businesses sponsor our radio and we are very grateful to these businesses that sponsor us in this worthwhile cause, also people from Walsall and surrounding areas volunteer their time to present programmes of various topics.

Sunday 29th July at St.Anne Parish Hall Crescent Road: On the advent of blessed month of Ramadhan all Muslims have great opportunity to receive special spiritual & self-purification rewards & benefits from Almighty Allah along with greatest ocean of forgiveness.

Therefore, in order to share such blessed moments with Muslim brothers, every year Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Cheetham Hill organises collective Iftaar dinners.
