MPIC hosts 3FF Interfaith Meeting at Minhaj-ul-Quran International London

Wednesday 20th July 2011 saw an interfaith event arranged by the Minhaj Peace and Integration Council (MPIC) which hosted The East London Three Faiths Forum at Minhaj-ul-Quran International London.

MPIC regularly holds such gatherings to promote peace, integration and understanding between the different faith groups that make up the diverse culture of the UK.

Interfaith harmony and interfaith dialogue has always been the key for a peaceful society and Minhaj-ul-Quran International has always promoted interfaith harmony at an international level. The Lambeth Palace invited Minhaj-ul-Quran UK representatives for a visit to Lambeth Palace and Westminster Abbey on 17 March 2011 and the delegation included Shaykh Sadiq Qureshi al-Azhari, Minhaj Peace and Integration Council President Abu Adam Ash-Sheerazi, and MPIC Secretary, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Minhaj-ul-Quran UK Spokesman Shahid Mursaleen and other office bearers of Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK and Muslim Youth League UK. The visit included showing around the Lambeth Palace and its explaining its historic significance. Special interest was shown in the Crypt Chapel, dating back to the thirteenth century and the oldest structure in the building.

MQI Farghana Institute visit Greater Manchester Humanist Meeting

On Wednesday 12th October 2011, Shaykh Muhammad Ramadan Qadri Al Azhari (Principal of MQI Farghana Institute) was invited to lecture at the monthly meeting of Greater Manchester Humanist society. The meeting took place in the historic ‘Manchester Friends House’ building. The Humanist Society is the national charity working on behalf of non-religious people who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of reason and humanity.

It was a lovely Sunday morning, the sky clear blue, the sun shining and it’s the month of ‘Rabi’al-Awwal - the first spring’ in which the birth of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) took place. In celebrating this blessed occasion, Farghana Institute (FI) was invited by the ‘Trinity Community Church’ (TCC) to participate in ‘Peace in the Mix – celebrating Peace Week 2010’ at the Amani Centre, Manchester.
