On 16th February President of MYL UK Rehan Ahmed Raza and Vice President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Allama Shahid Babar met with Shaykh Dr Khalid Abdul Wahab al-Mullah at the Marriot Hotel (Glasgow)

Over the weekend of 26th to 28th July 2013, Muslim Youth League organised its fourth consecutive Spiritual Retreat, this time at Minhaj-ul-Quran International London and was attended by over 45 youth from all over London.

President of Muslim Youth League UK, Shaykh Rehan Ahmed Raza Al-Azhari speaks at the Peace and Unity Conference. The conference took place on the 9th of June 2013 in Glasgow and was attended by a number of honourable Scottish leaders including:

- Alex Salmond (First Minister)
- Nichola Sturgeon (Deputy First Minister)
- Johan Lamont (Head of Scottish Labour Party)
- Brigadier Paul Harknes (Commander of the Scottish Army)

 

The Muslim Youth League UK held its first 3-day Spiritual Retreat on the weekend of 16-18 November 2012. The Retreat was held at Minhaj-ul-Quran International Centre in Bradford. The retreat started with intentions of voluntary i’tikaf (spiritual seclusion) and included various activities to make it multidimensional. The participants were fortunate to have Shaykh Rehan Raza who delivered talks and took questions in the Q&A session. Shaykh Rehan has studied for a period of 10 years in Syria, Egypt and Pakistan under the most globally recognized scholastic authorities. He has taken Ijaza from the likes of the Grand Shaykh al-Azhar himself. The participants were also fortunate to have a class on the Fiqh of Purification delivered by Ustadh Waqas Amin, a student of Shaykh Atabek Shukurov.

A 3-day getaway attracts youth from all parts of the UK to attend a ‘Spiritual Retreat’, a camp organised by Muslim Youth League UK. The retreat took place earlier last month from the 5th till 7th of April, at Minhaj ul Quran’s Walsall branch. Through various group activities, seminars and workshops, the 3-day retreat was designed to revive the teachings of Islam amongst Muslim youth.

The Muslim Youth League Sisters UK held their first residential Spiritual Retreat named ‘Awakening the Soul’ under the instruction of Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, on Friday 9th November 2012 until Sunday 11th November 2012. The aim of the retreat was to invite sisters to get away from our normal daily lives and remember Almighty Allah, to help revive our faith and gain closeness with Allah and His Beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). The retreat consisted of many different activities, from workshops, short lectures and team-building exercises to spiritually-uplifting Dhikrs, Gosha-e-Durood and Naat sessions.
