With its new and life changing projects, Minhaj Welfare Foundation is looking to recruit volunteers to donate their time’ and make a difference with Minhaj Welfare Foundation.

Could you imagine life without a safe and secure roof over your head? Put yourself in the position of the millions of orphans around the world and you will appreciate the work of Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF).

Orphans are no different to any other child; we here at MWF believe the Orphans should have the best start in life to help them become ambassadors of their country. We hope to setup a network of Orphan Care Homes in marginalised areas and also increase capacity at existing ones.

It all began in Al-Hidayah 2010 at Warwick University, when Nazia Barkat, attending for the first time, sat listening to Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri about a race that the Prophet (S.A.W.) had run with His wife, Hadrat Aisha (R.A.)

Sunday, 12th June 2011 - Hundreds of volunteers, workers and responsible of Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK turned out in great number for the official launch in what was seen as a new chapter for Minhaj Welfare Foundation in the UK and Europe. The Ameer of Minhaj-ul-Quran UK, Zahoor Ahmed Niazi was overwhelmed with the number of dedicated and loyal supporters of MWF.

Sunday 27th June 2011: Professor 'Abd al-Fadeel al-Qawsi, a senior delegate of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Vice Chair of WAAG International alongside Professor Usama Yasin and Professor Abdu Daim al Naseer visited and met with key office bearers and volunteers of MQI and MWF in Nelson, UK.
