An overview of Milad-un-Nabi (Sallalaho Alihi Wa Alihi Wassalim) programs held under Minhaj-ul-Quran International Women League UK in 2014. Minhaj-ul-Quran International is globally and industriously engaged in promoting the ardent love for the beloved Prophet of Islam (Blessings and peace be upon him).

With the immense blessings of Almighty Allah Subhana Wa Taala and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace be upon Him) Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International UK began the blessed month of Rabbi-ul-Awal with Welcome Milad celebrations.

12 Continued mahafil were held in both London and Bradford. The Mawid-un-Nabi celebrations continued into North, Midlands, South, Birmingham and London.

“The Blessed Birth” celebration were carried out in Minhaj-ul-Quran Centres, halls and houses.

Main speakers for the larger events were President Minhaj-ul-Quran International Women League Respected sister Saba Fatima Mash’ hadi and Respected sister Khadijah Atkinson. Among other main speakers were Sister Mussarat Hussain General Secretary MWL UK, Sister Rosina Nawaz Dawah Secretary MWL UK, Sister Asma Murtazah information Secretary MWL UK and Sister Nasreen Akhtar North Zone President MWL UK. These Sisters travelled throughout the UK to deliver the true teachings of the beloved Prophet (Blessings and peace be upon Him) to thousands of sisters who eagerly attended the Mawlid celebrations in unity to celebrate this very happy occasion.

The events carried an atmosphere of true happiness, unity, sisterhood and showers of Almighty Allah (SWT) mercy and blessings.

Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s speeches were played in these programs through DVD. After watching the DVD clip a session of questions were asked to the participants, the sisters who gave the correct answers were gifted with free DVD that the had just watched the clip from. This session was created to get the audience attention and more involved in the event.

A copy of some of the pages of Shaykh-ul-Islam's new book was distributed to the audience and groups were made of participants. 20 minutes were given to the groups to study the information and then questions session was conducted. The questions paper was created under the special instruction by President of MWL UK respected Sister Fatima Mash’hadi. The aim of this session was to educate the participants to develop self-education, that they could read books and watch lectures on DVDs to educate themselves in their own time at home. Gifts were distributed to the groups who achieved the most correct answers, this section of the program became a great interaction session for the participants and the organizers’ of the events and the participants showed great appreciation for the session and the gifts received. Minhaj-ul-Quran International’s message and invitation was given boldly by all responsible sisters who delivered speeches in these programs.

The 3 newly published books by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri  "Islam on Mercy and Compassion", "Muhammad The Merciful" and "Mawlid Al-Nabi Celebration and Permissibility" were launched and introduced to audiences throughout the Month of Rabi- ul-Awal in all events held under the banner of MWL UK. All events had stalls with books and dvd’s of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Dvd's by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the subject of "Why celebrate Mawlid-un-Nabi" were distributed free of charge to the participants.

Over 10,000 participants who attended the Mawlid events throughout the UK took home with them better understanding on why Mawlid-un-Nabi should be celebrated and perfection in their aqeeda and also the message of Minhaj-ul-Quran International of love and peace.

May Allah Subhana Wa talaal by the Waseela of His beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace be upon Him) grant us toufeeq to work hard to spread the message of mercy, peace, love and harmony true teachings of Islam and The Messenger of Islam (Blessings and peace be upon him).
