LONDON: The comments by the radical Anjem Choudary to the Sun newspaper are condemned by British Muslims.
Shahid Mursaleen, spokesman of Minhaj-ul-Quran UK said “His views are twisted and baseless and fuel hate and extremism in the UK. He has no credentials among the peace-loving Muslims in the UK.”
“He should learn the true concept of jihad which has been hijacked by fanatics like him who brainwash our youth and lead them towards hell.”
Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK is holding its annual 7/7 anniversary event at its east London centre tomorrow, which will be attend by representatives of various faiths, police, local government and young people. They are urged to reject extremist ideology of Anjem Choudary which is based on hate and creates chaos.
Vast majority of British Muslims feel the pain of people killed unjustly in the 7/7 attacks and denounce the extremist ideology. The event will focus on dismantling and reject arguments of extremist groups.
