Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall) & Methodist churches from Pleck & Bentley organised a ‘get-together’ event at Aboretum Park on Wednesday 16th August 2017. The members of the local community participated along with people of both faiths.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Walsall held a “Laylat-ul-Qadr” Mehfil on Wednesday 21st July 2017. Following the Taraweeh prayer a speech was given by Allama Ali Akbar Qadri Sahib which stressed the importance of establishing a link with the Quran so that we may be able to succeed as it is a comprehensive guide containing advice for all aspects of life.

Sunday 4th December 2016: Let's take ourselves back to the time of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S), to the time when Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) completed the building of the Kabah and proclaimed to Allah: " Oh Allah I ask for that Noor which you showed us, that Noor that we brought faith in to, that Noor that we bore witness to, Oh Allah I ask nothing more than that Noor of Muhammad PBUH come from my offspring.”
MWL Walsall hold ‘Hajj: The journey of love’ event
Every year millions of pilgrims travel all the way to Saudi Arabia to perform hajj, the obligatory pilgrimage upon every able Muslim. Performed on the last month of the Islamic calendar, Hajj is embedded with many symbolic acts of love and worship. As Muslims it is important that we understand the significance and meaning of this blessed pilgrimage. With this in mind Minhaj ul Quran Women League Walsall held an event entitled ‘Hajj: The journey of love’ focussing specifically on the history and significance of Hajj.
Karbala Conference organised by MQI Walsall
On Monday 24th October, after Maghrib Prayer, there was a conference held in remembrance of the Martyrs of Karbala and to pay rich tributes to the Martyrs of Karbala.

Over the past two decades, the amount of terrorist attacks like these have increased, innocent men, women and children are killed on a daily basis. The question on everyone’s mind is ‘Where is the love?’

Talk on Islam delivered to Local Police Officers
On Thursday 21st July 2016 Allama Ali Akbar was invited to Darlaston Police Station. He spoke to Community Support Officers as well as Police Officers. He gave a talk on "Understanding Islam and Muslims". Officers also had the opportunity to ask questions. There were a variety of questions asked.
Annual Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference 2016 held by MQI Walsall
On Monday 26th December 2016 a Mawlid-un-Nabi (ﷺ) Conference was held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall). The proceedings of the programme were carried out by Qari Wajid Mehmood Sahib, Muhammad Usman Khan and Numaan Sharif.

During Ramadhan MWL Tinsley, Sheffield, held various events and gatherings, which mostly took place at the Tinsley Islam Centre, but on some occasions, other venues were also used.
