A Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was organized by sister Safeena at her residential home in Leyton. The Mehfil begun with the recitation of the whole Quran by sisters attending. Followed by a beautiful Hamd recited by Sister Ijaz, and various sisters reciting Naats. Sister Safeena, Asra & Rukhsana gave short speeches on the Legality of Milad-un-Nabi under the light of the Hadith. Sister Asra Recited a beautiful Naat ‘Madine ke wali Madine bulalo'.
On Sunday 22nd December 2013 our Imaan study circle gathering took place at Corbett Street mosque in Smethwick. Our aim was teach basic tenets of Islamic belief in the light of Quran and Hadith. On the day we had a book stall with Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam’s literature and a Minhaj Dawah stall with CDs and DVDs.
On Monday 20 January 2014 we celebrated the blessed Mawlid Shareef of our Beloved (PBUH) under the umbrella of Minhaj ul Quran (Leyton wing, London). The event was organised by Mrs Abida Asif at the Bangla Centre on Dawlish Road Leyton, from 11am to 3pm. We had gathering of 180 sisters who attended.
By the blessings and fadal of Allah (SWT); sadaqah of His Beloved Messenger Muhammad Mustafa (SAW) and faiz of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, regular classes for women have been running in Walthamstow since January 2005.
On Sunday 26th January 2014, Minhaj-ul-Quran International – Women League London, Barking Wing held a Mawlid gathering in order to celebrate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). It was organized at the Community Centre, Eton Road in Ilford.
