Sister Nasreen Akhtar (Dawah Secretary) commenced with peaceful recitation of the Glorious Quran.  This was then followed by Darood Sharif which was recited for around 30-40 minutes by all the attendees. The amount of Darood Sharif read each week is recorded and passed on at an international level by Sister Nasreen Akhtar.

MWL Bolton held their first Coffee Afternoon to promote the inclusivity of girls and young women in the community via a relaxing and engaging way.  The Coffee Afternoons are held at senior Baji Shahzia Sultan’s house (General Secretary). 

The Halqa commenced with beautiful recitation by Sister Nasreen Akhtar, MWL Tinsley DawahSecretary.  This was then followed by Darood Sharif which was recited for thirty to forty minutes by all the attendees. The amount of Darood Sharif read has been recorded and passed on at national level to Gausha E Darood, MQI Lahore.

Minhaj Women League Bolton held a workshop to raise awareness about cancer and inform women on how they can reduce their risk of developing cancer. The workshop commenced with the beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran followed by salutations and blessing being sent on our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Sister Khalda Khan (President MWL Tinsley) organised a small event for Pakistan Independence Day.

The event began with the recitation of Dr Allama Iqbal's Dua "Lab Pe Athi Hain" this was followed by Sister Khalida speaking about Pakistan and its rich history. Within the talk Sister Aeysha Mirza (General Sec MWL Tinsley.) and Sister Sajida Begum (Finance Sec MWL Tinsley) asked the audience questions and the children took part in a quiz on Pakistan.

On the 31st of January 2016 a grand Mawlid was held at the New Madina Masjid. The spiritual gathering was opened with beautiful recitation of the Glorious Qur'an recited by Sister Sennia Ahmed. Sister Abida praised the Almighty Lord by reciting a heart touching Hamd. This was followed by Sister Anaab Ahme glorifying our Beloved Prophet Peace and Blessings Upon Him with the Qasidah Burdah Shareef.

The Halqa-e-Durood during the Holy month of Ramadhan consisted of Sister Nasreen Akhtar (Dawah Secretary) opening the peaceful gatherings with recitation of the Glorious Qur'an. This was then followed by Darood Sharif which was recited for around 30-40 minutes by all the attendees. The amount of Darood Sharif read has been recorded and passed on at national level by the Dawah secretary so it can be presented at Gausha-e-Darood, Minhaj-ul-Quran, Lahore.

On Sunday the 25th October 2015 MWL Bolton held a Sayyida Zainab Alaihisalaam conference at Masjid-ul-Aqsa on Gilnow Road. This also coincided with the Islamic date of 10th of Muharram, the saddest day of Karbala.

This event took place in Tinsley on Monday 26 May 2014 @ 11:00am.

We have around 25 women attending our Halqa-e-Durood every Monday. sisters read Durood Sharif in congregation for an hour before snacks are served.

On Friday 2nd of October 2015, Minhaj ul Quran Women League (Hodge Hill) held a monthly programme at Sister Asia Begum’s (President MWL Hodge Hill) house, the programme was hosted by Sister Shaheen Akhtar (Welfare Secretary MWL Hodge Hill).
