Sunday 2nd of March, a MILAAD Program was conducted by MWL Nottingham.There was a large number of ladies present in the hall, who really enjoyed this spiritual gathering.
The Mehfil consisted of Sister Nasreen Akhtar (Dawah Secretary) beginning by a Tilawat. This was then followed by Durood Sharif which was recited for around 30-40 minutes by all the attendees. The amount of Durood Sharif read each week is recorded and passed on at national level by the Dawa secretary.
On the 19 February 2014 Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham and Minhaj-ul-Quran Women’s League Nottingham organised a gathering in which guests were called and the members of Minhaj-ul-Quran attended to celebrate the birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
MWL Tinsley held a very special weekly Halqa Durood highlighting the terrible tragedy of Model Town massacre of June 17th 2014. The congregation organised by Sister Khalda Khan (President MWL Tinsley) applauded the sacrifices and steadfastness of those brave individuals who lost their lives on that sad day.
The Syeda Zainab (Alaihis Salaam) Conference took place on Sunday 1st of November 2015 between 12:00 - 5:00pm at the Tinsley Islam Centre.
On 29th May 2017, MWL Tinsley hosted their first mehfil of the blessed month of Ramadhan, the Sayyeda Kainat Conference. This was also the day of the demise of Hazrat Fatima az Zahra (RA); the mehfil was held in honour of Hazrat Fatima az Zahra (RA).
The 12 day programmes that commenced on the first of Ashura Muharram were held at various sisters houses:- Sister Shaheen Akhtar, Sister Haleema Bibi,Sister Zohra Bi, Sister Imtiaz, Sister Farzana Mahmood, Sister Fareen Hussain, Sister Parveen and also at the Islam Centre, Tinsley. The Minhaj Youth league had one programme at the Islam Centre on the ninth of Muharram.
