Minhaj-ul-Quran International Walsall and Saint John’s Church held a national and cultural event on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee on 4th June, 2012. The event was organized to bring all the communities together for better co-existence and integration. Nearly more than 500 people attended the event. MQI Walsall has arranged food for participants. English people enjoyed desi food samosas, pakoras, seekh kebab and curry.

On 5th November 2011, the MYL Sisters in Tipton and Dudley held a Chaand Raat which Alhamdulillah was a great success. Many women attended to pamper themselves in order to get ready for Eid ul Adha.

By the grace of Almighty ALLAH and the blessings of Rasoolullah ﷺ, MWL-South has established a new Tanzeem in Bristol. President MWL-South: Sister Nusrat Mahmood had a brief meeting with the new team, provided them with all the necessary details and described the functionality within MWL & Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Sister Asma Murtaza – the Information Secretary MWLUK, has been working effectively to make up this Tanzeem and described roles and responsibilities to the team members.

On the 24th December 2017 Minhaj ul Quran Derby organised Annual Melad in the Derby Jamia Mosque.

A large number of brothers and sisters including children attended the programme.
The programme, which started after Asar with the recitation of Holy Quran, followed by beautiful Naats from local naat khawans. In his English Speech, Hafiz Faizan E Muhammad (Derby), emphasised on the importance and benefits of following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (saw).

On the 4th April 2015 Minhaj Women League Derby conducted a Gyaarvi Shariff Mehfil. The Mehfil took place at The Iklas Centre at 4pm. The Mehfil began by the recitation of The Holy Qur’aan followed by lecture on CD by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri ‘haqooq-e-walidain wa zoujain’. The speech was listened to for 15 minutes. Alhamdullilah 40 Sisters attended and 10 children. A Hamd and many Naats were recited. Some Naats were complemented by the Duff which many Sisters were attracted and fascinated by. The Mehfil was concluded by Zikr Salaam and Dua.

On the 9th of December 2017, Minhaj Women League UK held a Seerat-ur-Rasool ﷺ conference in Leicester. The guest speaker at this conference was respected Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri (Canada); an inspirational speaker who has been an advocate for women empowerment, especially within the Muslim community.

On Saturday 5th January 2019, Minhaj Sisters London visited the Barchester Westgate House Care Home. This initiative by Minhaj Sisters London was to create Community  Cohesion and give back to the elderly and vulnerable members of the community. The sisters delivered gift hampers for the New Year containing toiletries and snacks.
