On Sunday, the 17th November 2013, the Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League London organized a Sirat-e-Syeda Fatima-al-Zahra (RA) program. The program commenced after Zuhr Salah with the recitation and translation of verses from the Holy Quran by Sister Zareeda Shafiq & Hafiza Maimuna Bukhari. After the recitation of the Holy Quran, Sisters Nuzhat Pervaiz, Nargis, recited Naats and praised the honour of our beloved Holy Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and Hafiza Maryam Noor Hussain recited a manqabat.

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, under the reconstituted team of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League London held cultural programme called ‘Mina Bazaar’.  The programme started at 12:30 pm in Idara Minhaj-ul-Quran London, Romford Road. The day consisted of various activates, ranging from Henna Mehndi by Aneesa Tanveer to Food supervised by Mrs Nusrat Mahmood (President Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League London).

With the Grace of Allah and His Beloved Prophet (S.A.W.), Minhaj Women’s League, Walthamstow London set up a stall at the Noor ul Islam Summer Fete which took place in The Leyton Youth Centre on the 29th and 30th June 2013.

On Friday 31st May approximately 50 students from Minhaj School of Islamic Sciences (MSIS), as well as some 30 volunteers including teaching staff and parents, teamed up with UK charity Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) to conduct a sponsored charity walk for the HelpFeed project. Participants covered 2.8 miles in order to raise awareness of global hunger and poverty. Setting off from East Ham Station at 11am, children walked to the Minhaj-ul-Quran centre on Romford Road in Forest Gate via Barking Road and Green Street. The selected route was deliberately chosen by organisers in order to reflect the daily journeys of millions of children in Africa who walk 2.8 miles every day in search of clean water.

By the grace of Allah (S.W.T.) and the blessings of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.), Minhaj-ul-Quran International London organized “Annual Farid-e-Millat” seminar on 24 Aug 2013. Ameer-e-Tahreek UK and ex-editor of daily Jang newspaper London,  Zahoor Ahmed Niazi presided over the seminar, while a large number of people including many distinguished guests were amongst the attendees including Allama Sadiq Qureshi Al-Azhar, Naib Ameer-e-Tahree Minhaj Ul Quraan International, Musfti  Mujahid Choudhry from Bangladesh, Allama Qari Kashif Hussain, Qari Jamil Ahmed. Qari Mohi us Sunnah grandson of Mufti Mujahid Choudhry recited verses from the Holy Qur’an followed by naat by qari Jamil Ahmed and a very beautiful manqabat by Haji Aftab Ahmed (written by Muzaffar Warsi).

By the grace of Allah (S.W.T.) and the blessings of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.), the annual Mi’raj-Un-Nabi conference was held on 5 June 2013 under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, London. The Conference consisted of two sessions; first session started at 19:30 hrs and finish at 23:00 hrs. The second session stated at 00:30 hrs with Salaat-ul-Tasbeeh and finished at ‘Sehri’, where Sehri was also served to the people who wanted to fast. A large number of people including many distinguished guests were amongst the attendees.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, 5th Annual Charity fun day was organised on Sunday 26th May 2013 under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International London Women’s League.  The programme started at 1230 and finished at 1700 hrs. A large number of families including children participated in the fun day and everyone enjoys the event thoroughly as there were activities for all ages.  At the end of the event there was very positive feedback from the participants, who said they were waiting for this event.  It was a great success for Minhaj Women League London and local community supported the events very well.
