By the Grace of Allah Subhanahu wa Taala, conference on the celebration of Mawlid un Nabi (SAW), was organised by Minhaj-ul-Quran International London in collaboration with Sakina Trust and Love Muhammad (SAW) organisation on the 27th December 2014.

The conference started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Asim Shabbir who is the first Hafiz of Minhaj-ul-Quran London, followed by a beautiful naat by a young group of girls from MSIS (Minhaj School of Islamic Sciences) and Minhaj Naat Council London.  Renowned nasheed artist Jalal Masumi from Sakina Trust also recited Darood e Taaj in a very intricate manner.

The guest speaker of the conference was Allama Sadiq Qureshi Al Azhari, who delivered a truly touching account of our Beloved Prophet (SAW). He described the beautiful characteristics of our Beloved Prophet (SAW) and his high status and how the companions used to show love and respect to him. Allama Sadiq Qureshi Al Azhari also emphasised that we should also love the Prophet (SAW) in the same manner that the Sahaba did. He continued to explain that Minhaj-ul-Quran unites us all over the world in over 90 countries and our beloved Quaid Professor Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has taught us the message of love, peace and unity

Dr Allama Ghulam Muhammd Qamar Al-Azhari also addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of Mawlid un Nabi.  Allama Jaffar Ali Najam, Director of Sakina Trust also spoke out on the occasion.  He emphasised on the unity of the Muslim Ummah. Muhammad Raza Iraqi from Love Muhammad (SAW) organisation also addressed the audience and explained their future events which they will be holding all over the UK.

There was an excellent turn out from the youth and many of the young brothers also enjoyed a quiz at the end which consisted of six short questions. First, second and third place prizes were also awarded to the participants and the winner of the event was brother Dawood Mehmood.

At the end of the programme, Director Minhaj-ul-Quran International London, Allama Hafiz Muhammad Zeeshan Qadri made a short speech followed by a brief insight into the hard work that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is doing for the Muslim ummah. He also explained that we should all do our part by changing ourselves and becoming better, practicing Muslims. He also thanked everyone and specially the Sakina Trust and Love Muhammad (SAW) organisation for their participation in the Mawlid un Nabi celebration.
