Annual Milad-un-Nabi SAW Conference held at MQI London

By the grace of Almighty Allah, Minhaj-ul-Qur'an International London organized Annual Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (saw).  The proceedings of the programme begin with the recitation from Holy Qur’an by Qari Muhammad Kashif followed by salutations upon the Prophet (SAW) by renowned reciters such as Adeel Ahmed Qasmi, Hassan Hamdani and Minhaj Naat Council London. Alhamdulilah, the true message of Mawlid-un-Nabi was beautifully conveyed to the audience.

The honourable guest speaker Shaykh Yazdani Raza Misbahi, Head of London Fatwa Council delivered a truly touching speech in English on the importance of the love for our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). He described the beautiful characteristics of the birth of our beloved Prophet (SAW) and his high status and how the companions used to show love and respect towards the Prophet (SAW). He urged everyone, especially the youth in the conference to show their respect and love towards the Holy Prophet (SAW).

Director  Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International London, Allama Hafiz Muhammad Zeeshan Qadri made a short speech in Urdu and then went on to describe all the hard work that Shaykh-ul-Islam is doing for us and we should all do our part by changing ourselves and becoming better, practicing Muslims. We should sacrifice our time and wealth for the betterment of Islam and the mission that the Prophet (SAW) brought to us.

During the programme, the live transmission of Shaykh-ul-Islam’s speech was also shown to audience which were also televised in 90 countries and 250 cities in Pakistan. A short presentation on Minhaj Development Project was also presented and Shaykh Adnan Sohail also introduced newly published books of Shaykh-ul-Islam which include; Muhammad the Merciful, Mawlid-un-Nabi and lastly, Islam on Mercy and Compassion. Minhaj dawah project also had a stall and projected newly published books of Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri along with video and audio cassettes which were all distributed to enable the message of Islam to be spread widely.

At the end of programme, a cake was also cut which was arranged by brother Masoom from Bangladesh (arranged every year). A large number of dignities and audience was present at the conference. The Hall was beautifully decorated and special thanks go to brother Naseem who took all the responsibility to decorate the hall and Alhamdulillah he done it wonderfully which was appreciated by all the executives. Food was also served at the end of programme.
