MYK UK organised a three day youth I’tikaf held at Minhaj-ul-Quran International (London) from Friday 10th August to Sunday 12th August attended by both brothers and sisters.

The climax of the event were the live lectures of Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which were also aired to I’tikaf gathering in Lahore; and millions of viewers worldwide courtesy of minhaj.tv.

The youth made their way to the London Centre, arriving at 7pm on Friday 10th August. All attendees were welcomed and registered, each one receiving a registration form; rules and regulations; badges and the schedule for the three days.

After the Iftar, a welcome message was given by Brother Abdul Basit Al-Azhari & MYL UK executive Brother Umar Naveed. Each participant was encouraged to fully participate in the schedule provided and especially benefit from the lectures after taraweeh by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Each night the youth from all areas of the UK listened attentively to Shaykh-ul-Islam’s topic of perfecting ones intention.

Every morning, during Tahajjud prayers a special dhikr gathering was organised, led by Brothers Ramzan Al-Azari Al-Madani and Umar Naveed.

On the morning of day two of the Youth I’tikaf, Brother Adnan Sohail Al-Azhari held a class on the basics of Fiqh.  Brother Adnan mentioned the importance of Fiqh in our daily lives and went further explaining Fiqh in Islamic law and Shaariah.

After Dhur prayer on Day two, a very interactive PowerPoint presentation was given on the status of Holy Prophet (SAW) in light of the Holy Quran by Brother Ramzan Al-Azhari Al-Madani.
