Monthly Giyarveen sharif and Rajab Al Murajjab programme took place at the Minhaj ul Quran International London centre, which was organised by Minhaj Women League (MWL) London on 25th March 2018.

The event was hosted by sister Samina (President of Minhaj Women League London). The programme commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran by a female student of Minhaj evening school Ride sheikh, after which a heart-warming nasheed was read by sister Sehrish in praise of the Holy Prophet (saw) and this really brought about a spiritual atmosphere.

An English speech was delivered by sister Azmat Aijaz about the supreme status of Holy Prophet (saw) and Shab e Meraj. She told us that Rajab is the seventh month in the Islamic calendar. This event marks the night that Allah SWT took our beloved Holy Prophet (saw) on a journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and then to Heaven on buraq. Sister Summiya Fatima (General Secretary of South zone) delivered an Urdu speech about the characteristic of Allah's people. In her speech, she mentioned that Allah SWT has said in Holy Quran "All those in the heavens and the earth will come to the beneficent of Allah SWT obediently". Al Rahman Al Rahim are two of the attributes of Allah SWT which remind people of his mercy.

After this thought-provoking speech the event was concluded with salaam upon the beloved prophet (Peace and Blessings Upon Him) and a heartfelt Dua. Food was served to all the attendees at the end.
