Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) celebrated by MWL London

By the Grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) and his beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH), A great Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference was arranged by MWL London in the honour of our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) on Sunday 4th December 2016, at the Minhaj-ul-Quran International London.

A large number of women along with their children attended the gathering. Programme commenced with a very melodious recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Amina Shah, after which a heart touching nasheed was read.

This was followed by a beautiful play on "Asalamualaykum" which was presented by female students of Baith-ul-hikma school. The students of Ustaza Fatimah Mash'hadi (President MWL UK) then delivered short speeches on Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW). A few more beautiful nasheed were read in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and this really brought about a spiritual atmosphere.

After that, English speech was delivered by Sister Asma Murtaza (Da’awah Secretary MWL UK) about the love of our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The main speaker was Ustaza Fatimah Mash'hadi (President MWL UK), who gave an Urdu speech regarding the love and respect of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She mentioned that in this specific time we should strengthen our faith in Allah Almighty (SWT) and the Holy Prophet (PBUH), she also reminded us of the passion and love we should have in our hearts for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). It was also beautifully explained that given the time we are living in, it is equally important to remember who the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is and what are his teachings. The Holy Prophet (PBUH)said that  he was sent as Prophet of mercy and guidance for the entire mankind without discrimination of colour, race and creed, adding that the Holy Prophet (PBUH)'s life is an eternal lesson of love, peace and welfare for humanity.

After this beautiful thought provoking speech delivered by Sister Nusrat Mahmood (President MWL UK South), threw light on the role MQI. She added how MQI playing an important role for the promotion of love and peace, and to spread the core values of the Prophet's message. She also explained about the mission of MQI and urged the sisters to join Minhaj ul Quran, to attend spiritual gatherings and to spread the love of our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) everywhere in homes, mosques and further society. MashaAllah, The event was very well organised and beautifully concluded with Salaam and a heartfelt Dua for whole ummah of beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The audience were gifted with Shaykh-Ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s books, CD’s and DVD’s by Minhaj Dawah project. Food was served to all attendees at the end.
