On Wednesday 21st December 2016, Circles of Sacred Knowledge held an event under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (London) titled Muhammad: The Most Praised ﷺ. Circles of Sacred Knowledge is a Minhaj-ul-Quran based project which was started in 2014 where weekly study circles are held at al-Madina Mosque (Barking). The circle consists of a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Nasheed and then a talk by Minhaj-ul-Quran’s renowned scholar Mufti Sohail Ahmad Siddiqui al-Azhari. The session also consists of a Question and Answer session and ends with Dhikr and Salawat alan-Nabi ﷺ.

On 21st Decemebr 2016 the event “Muhammad: The Most Praised ﷺ” which was attended by over 250 people of all ages, brothers and sisters, started with a beautiful recitation by Imam Abu Bakr, followed by a Nasheed by the young Minhaj Brothers. Mufti Sohail Ahmed Siddiqui al-Azhari short but sharp talk on the status of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. It was followed by a performance by brother Ahmed Ikhlas in a very unique style in the form of reggae.

The guest of honour Shaykh Ahmed Babikir as-Sudani was invited to this mawlid special circle where the Shaykh delivered a well-expressed talk to the participants on the love and importance of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The Shaykh then led Hadra and the event was came to an end with Salawat alan-Nabi ﷺ by the Minhaj brother’s and dua by Shaykh Babikir and Mufti Sohail Ahmed Siddiqui.
