Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson's women's league arranged a Syeda Qaynaat Conference on 28th July. Which began with tilawate Quraan-e-Paak by Ghulam Fatima. This was followed by Hamde Bari Ta'ala, Qaseeda Burda Shareef, Naat Shareef and a speech by Baji Asima from Manchester on the seerate Tayibah of Syeda Fatima tul Zahra (RA). The mehfil was ended with salaam and dua, after which packed food was given out to all the women. Approximately 200 women attended which included women from Bradford, Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Brierfield.

Minhaj Welfare Foundation in conjunction with Muslim Youth League UK and Pendle Community Radio Awaz 130.1 FM organised a fundraiser event to help those people suffering in Syria. The event took place on Sunday 26th of May 2013, at the Ace Centre in Nelson.

On Friday 4th October 2013, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran held a parents evening for the young children who attend the education centre. The evening was organised to inform parents of their children’s progress over the last year. It was also to reward the children for their success in the recent examinations they had taken.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson's women's league celebrated five years of halqa e durood on 19th May. The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Iza. Qaseeda Burda Shareef was then recited, following a few naats. The programme consisted of a talk on durood e pak by Nasreen Akhter. The stage secretary duties were carried out by Sana from the youth league. Certificates were then presented to nine sisters who are in charge of the halqas and they were gifted with Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's book Minhaj us Sawwi. The cake cutting then took place after which Salaam and Dua was made. The food was then served. Approximately 300 women attended the mehfil. A total of 8501000 durood shareef was gathered.
