On Sunday 3rd August 2014, Teachers and students of Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson held a Meena Bazaar and fun day for young children and ladies. The event was held at Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational Centre, Carr Road from 2:00pm- 6:00pm and was organised by teachers of Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran, Tahira Basharat, and Naushaza Fiaz. It was a great success, with hundreds of people from the surrounding areas in attendance.

On the 7th to the th11 of july 2014, the Women's League of Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson organised Halaqat e Ramadan mehfils which lasted an hour in the afternoon at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre in Nelson. The programme was initiated with tilawat from the Holy Quran by Sister Ghulam Fatima and was then followed by Qaseeda burda sharif.  Then Sister Saima who is the dawah secretary for women’s league would give a little talk.

On Friday 5th July 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson held a monthly Giyarvee Sharif for young female students who attend the education centre.  It was also a non-uniform day for the children, so they were able to wear clothes of their own choice, as long as they made a charitable donation. The mehfil was a good event with hosting and participation from the young and senior students. Hosting was done by Lybah Ahmed, Zulaikha Mehmood and Alisha Ahmed.

On Wednesday 25th June 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson began the second series of lectures for children who attend the education centre. Sister Tahira Basharat, Senior teacher at the centre, invited Sister Safia Akhtar to come and deliver short talks on common topics and issues that affect the youth of today. A variety of topics were covered with many Ahadith and stories, and students were very attentive and keen to listen throughout the talks.

On the 13th of July 2014, the Women's League of Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson hosted annual Syeda Kainat (RA) conference at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre in Nelson. This mehfil was hosted by Sister Saima who is the dawah secretary for the women’s league. Approximately two hundred participants in the form of women, girls and children attended the mehfil. The programme was initiated with tilawat from the Holy Quran by Sister Nasreen Saiba. And was then followed Qaseeda burda sharif and naats which were recited by several sisters who attended the mehfil.

On the 26th of June 2014, the Women's League of Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson organised a Meena Bazaar at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre in Nelson. The purpose for this event was to fund raise for the democratic electoral reforms in Pakistan.

On the 12th of June 2014, the Women's League of Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson hosted annual Shabe-e-baraat mehfil at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre in Nelson. This mehfil was hosted by Sister Saima who is the dawah secretary for women’s league. Approximately two hundred participants in the form of women, girls and children attended the mehfil. The programme was initiated with tilawat from the Holy Quran by Sister Ghulam Fatima. And was then followed by two naats by which one was recited by Sister Anum.
