On Thursday 1st April 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj ul Quran held a Hadeeth celebration party for senior students from Khadija Class. The event was organised to congratulate the class for becoming the first class to complete the 20 Hadith challenge.

There were a number of activities organised to entertain the students, which they all took part in and enjoyed a great deal. The students who attended the party are:

Hasana Mirza, Alisha Ahmed, Ammaarah Sajjad, Sana Saeed Butt, Jasmin Ahmed, Nida Ajaz, Fawziyah Hayat, Samavia Hussain, Zalaikha Mehmood, Salihah Anjum, and Saliha Rasheed,

The first game, which was organised, was called “Dodge Ball”, students played using a soft ball, and the object of the game was to avoid being hit by the ball which is thrown by the opposing team.

The second game that was played was “Naatical chairs”; the concept is similar to “musical chairs”, except students listen to nasheeds, instead of music. This was won by Alisha Ahmed.

The final game played was “Hide and Seek” which was won by Hasana Mirza and Alisha Ahmed.

After all the activities had been completed students sat down to have dinner which had been organised by the students themselves and the teachers. A wide variety of food had been brought in including: chaat, sweet rice, pizzas, Samosas, Pakoras, Sikh Kebabs, Sweets, crisps, chocolates, and drinks.

Everybody had a good time at the event and looked forward to the next time a similar celebration in the future. It served as good encouragement to the students, who revitalised their eagerness to learn and educate themselves about Islam and their Faith.
