The management, members and volunteers of East Lancashire Community Action Project (ELCAP) and Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson (MQI Nelson) visited a number of places in Pendle to wish people a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Seasonal Greetings.

The arrival of the New Year often puts us in the mood to evaluate-to look back over the previous year and think about where we’ve been or to look forward to the coming year and consider where we’re going. Each time the New Year arrives; we always aspire for something new to happen, and we can felt that. The change in the year is just part of a much bigger change. The real change has to come from within ourselves. Even if the environment changes, it will not likely bring happiness or peace to our lives. Our inner realm has to change for the better if we are to accept situations in life with proper understanding.

The places visited include the local Christ church, The Old people’s home, McMillan Nursery, Marsden primary school and the local police station.
