MWL 2nd anniversary of local Halqa-e-Durood Mehfils

May 2010: 2nd anniversary of local Halqa-e-Durood Mehfils was held in Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational Centre (Nelson)

23 ladies were awarded certificates for regular attendence in all programmes held as part of this initiative, they were also presented reference books authored by Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Shaykh ul Islam's works 'Dalayl-ul-Barakaat' was also introduced in this programme and subsequently 50 units were sold and 60 Irfan-ul-Quran copies have been sold.

The monthly Gyarvi-Shareef programme attracts upto 300 ladies

So far around 200 books have been bought and then gifted by MWL to women, these include:

Husn-e-Amaal
Husn-e-Akhlaaq
Husn-e-Ahwaal
Mamalate-Milaad
Falsfa-e-Saum

Previous programmes:

Rabi-ul-Awal: 12 days of programmes were conducted by MWL
19th February: Qaid Day celebrations tooks place and a separate programme was arranged for MWL

Halaqa-e-Durood

Weekly Halaqa-e-Durood mehfils have been setup in 50 homes across Nelson, and as a result of propagation to relatives and friends 15 units have been setup in Derby.

150,000 Durood shareef is recited and submitted to Gosha-e-Durood on a weekly basis.

Currently 43 women attend the Irfan-ul-Quran Dars, and 15 attend the Tajweed class
