By the Grace of Allah SWT and the Blessings of our Beloved Peace and Blessings Upon Him. Minhaj Women League held a series of Rabi-ul-Awal Halaqats over the first twelve days of this Blessed month.  Twelve of these were organised jointly with Minhaj Men League Nelson at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre, Nelson.  The speeches were delivered by Allama Sahib on a daily basis, whom also delivered a message about the aims and objectives of Minhaj-ul-Quran and its current projects.  These included the Ziafat e Milad held in Minhaj-ul-Quran, Lahore, Pakistan.

Over a hundred Sisters attended on a daily basis.  MWL Nelson served the Sisters Ziafat e Milad on a daily basis.

Rabbi-ul-Awwal Halqats were also held at various Sister's houses facilitated by MWL Nelson.  These were full of love for the Beloved Peace and Blessings Upon Him.

The gatherings followed a set pattern which included a beautiful recitation of The Holy Quran, followed by Qaseeda Burdah Sharif recited by Sister Ghulam Fatima (MWL Nelson President) and Sister Parveen Anwar (MWL Nelson Genral Secretary).  Sister Rizwana Gull (MWL Nelson Darood Co-ordinator) recited various Naats to praise our Beloved Peace and Blessings Upon Him.  She read some passionate Naats that allowed the Sisters to envisage Madina and feel highly spiritual.

Sister Nasreen Akhtar (MWL North Zone President) delivered speeches on the Blessed Birth of the Prophet Peace and Blessings Upon Him.  In light of The Quran and Ahadeeth she spoke about how we should celebrate the birth of the Greatest Mercy for mankind and the reasons behind this celebration, she used the Mawlid un Nabi Book authored by His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.  Sister Nasreen also delivered a message about Minhaj-ul-Quran and the benefits of joining this moderate dynamic organisation.  She also spoke about the Ziafat e Milad taking place in Lahore.  As a result of this and the efforts of MWL Nelson £1500 was raised to support this project.

Sister Shazia sent salutations upon our Beloved by reciting a beautiful Salaam in which all the Sisters joined in.  Sister Hafiza Begum made a heartfelt Dua to conclude the blessed gathering.

Food was served to all the Sisters present.  There was more than forty sisters that attended.  They all voiced they had benefitted greatly from these gatherings and wanted to implement their knowledge in their daily lives.  The Sisters felt that the gatherings had promoted love for our Beloved Peace and Blessings Upon Him.
