As we all know that Eid-Milad Un Nabi ﷺ is the celebration of the Blessed Birth of the Greatest Prophet ﷺ
By the grace of Almighty Allah and the blessing of the Prophet(Allah bless him and give him peace) Minhaj Women League Manchester, commemorate the martyrdom of a very prominent personality Imam Hussain Alaihissalam, his dear family Alaihissalam and Beloved companions sacrificed their lives to uphold the flag of Islam.
MWL Manchester presented a three month course on “Introduction to Islamic teachings" which focused on Tajweed, Aqidah and Fiqh. The course was delivered by Allama Haroon Abbasi Sahib, respected scholar at Minhaj-ul-Quran Manchester. Sister Shameem Akhtar (President) and all MWL Manchester sisters promoted this course at their weekly Halqa-e-Darood gatherings that are held.
The Ghyarveen Sharif Mehfil took place at MQI Manchester on 17th of June, organised by MWL Manchester. Sister Saima Hussain opened the gathering by inviting Sister Tayyeba Hussain to recite The Glorious Quran. A beautiful Hamd was recited by Sister Saba Asif to praise the Almighty. To follow on from this a series of melodious Nasheeds were recited in the praise of our Beloved Prophet may Allah's peace and blessing be upon him by Sister Abida Bibi, Sister Rifat Kamran, and Sister Shahzada and Sister Hanna. These Nasheeds were received lovingly by all sisters who joined in with the recitation.
“The Significance of Karbala” Halqa took place at Sister Nadia Ali’s (MWL Cheetham Hill Dawah Secretary) house, which was organised by Minhaj Women League Cheetham Hill.
On the 4th of July in the Holy month of Ramadan MWL & MQI Manchester arranged an Iftar Dinner at MQI Manchester. The programme was conducted by Allama Haroon Abbasi Al Azhari.
