On 19th July 2012, Parents evening held at Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Manchester). Around 150 people, including parents of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Mcr) young students (ages ranging from 7-16) who attend the after school classes in reading Quran, to acknowledge and celebrate their achievements in gaining the valuable learning.

The programme was opened with a welcoming to all parents, commenced with a number of students performing a series of recitations and Islamic Nasheeds, which were very well carried out and received by all present. Insha Allah

Each student had been involved in an individual assessment programme earlier, and the main focus of the programme was the presentations to all students individually with their Assessment Reports, along with a medal, and congratulated on their progress and achievements.

There was the extra pleasure of watching four students receiving, a certificate, along with an engraved shield in recognition of Punctuality, Behaviour and Performance in Quran and Namaz class, from the President Ateequllah Butt. Girls received their certificates and shields from Sister Aminah Qadri, President Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, Manchester.

President, Ateequllah Butt, then began the conclusion of this celebratory programme, commending all students and complimenting the proud parents for their children’s politeness and behaviour, to all the teachers and members whilst in attendance at the academy.

A full attendance supplication was then offered to complete the programme.
