Minhaj Women League Halifax arranged a women only event on Internet Safety at the Inspire centre Calderdale College on 31st January 2016. The aim of the event was to promote awareness about the inappropriate content and contacts that children or young adults may come across online and what parents can do more to stop or reduce it.

On the 21st of October MWL Halifax held a Sayyeda Zainab Alaihisalaam Conference at the Minhaj library, Halifax.

All the Sisters recited Darood Sharif for half of the first half hour.  The programme was hosted by Sister Nahid Shahid MWL Halifax President she quoted Hadith regarding the lives of the Ahle Bayt Alaihisalaam.  She also read poetry on the significance of the great sacrifices made by the Ahle Bayt. She also spoke about the reward of the compulsory act of working to spread the message of Islam.

By the Grace of Allah (SWT) and the blessing of Best of His Creation Rasool (SAW), MWL & MYL organised Annual Mawlid-un-Nabi Programme in Halifax town.

This programme was held on 27th of December at the Madni Mosque, Gibbet Street Halifax.

MWL Halifax sisters arranged Halqa Durood Mehfil at Minhaj Library Centre in Halifax. This Mehfil was held on 21st and 28th of November 2015.

Firstly sisters recited Durood Shareef for half an hour and total collection read of Durood Paak was 5300. Following that sister Nahid Shahid MWL Halifax Media Secretary recited Quran e Paak with tajweed and translation from Irfan-ul-Quran (1st raque of para three).

On the 19th of October 2015, MWL Halifax Women's League held their first Muharram Mehfil. The Mehfil was held and hosted by Sister Robina Saghir (MWL Halifax Dawah Secretary) at the MWL Library on Gibbet Street, Halifax.
