Sisters from the Muslim Youth League Halifax team have been working hard to raise as much money as possible for MWF over the years. On Tuesday 28th September 2010 some of the MYL Halifax sisters set out onto the streets of Halifax to raise money for the victims of the Pakistan floods. Over £200 for Minhaj Welfare Foundation was raised in less than 2 hours!

MYL-S Halifax work with Calderdale College
In 2010 the Muslim Youth League Sisters Halifax began working in connection with The Calderdale College and the Minhaj-ul-Quran Education Project Halifax to promote the celebration of Milad-un-Nabi (saw), the blessed birthday of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to encourage young Asian girls and women to get involved in educational courses.
MYL-S Halifax SCHOOL PROJECT!
This project was launched by the Muslim Youth League UK sisters Halifax in 2008. The aim of the school project is to build community cohesion by connecting with local secondary schools in the local areas; to deliver workshops, discuss issues which affect young people, create awareness about Islam along with other issues.
Opening of the Al-Minhaj Home Weekend Educational Project, Halifax UK
On the 23rd of February 2008 Allama Hafiz Nazir Qadri, the Ambassador of Minhaj-ul-Quran International arrived in Halifax UK at Muhammad Javid Akhtar's residence to perform the opening of the Al-Minhaj Home Weekend Project for boys and girls which was specially done in celebration of Shaykh-ul-Islam's 57th birthday.

MYL-S Halifax raised awareness about the JIHijackAD event, which took place on 20th June 2010 at the Hilton Hotel in Bradford, West Yorkshire in the company of Shaykh Hassan Mohiuddin Al-Qadri.
Opening ceremony of Halkha-e-Darood Shareef, Halifax UK
On the 10th of April 2008, Allama Muhammad Idrees Sahib visited the Minhaj-ul-Quran Home Educational Project Halifax at Muhammad Javid Akhtar's residence. This was to perform the opening ceremony of Monthly Halkha-e-Darood Shareef sessions for both brothers and sisters.
