MYL-S Halifax has been delivering weekly sisters study circles for the past 4 years. These take place every Sunday at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Education Centre, Halifax.

A wide range of topics are covered such as:

Hijab

Marriage

Boy/girl relationships

Drugs

Respecting parents and elders

Friends of Allah

Love of Holy Prophet (S.A.W)

Akhirah

Life after death

Along with many more topics are discussed in an open and comfortable environment, through various methods such as group work discussions, presentations, drama role-play and many more.

Within every study circle dhikr is done and a lecture clip of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is shown and then discussed. The aim of the weekly sessions is to discuss the issues affecting the youth and raise awareness of the importance of the love and reverence of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) through watching and discussing Shaykh-ul-Islam’s videos, so that the youth are aware of what our priorities should be as young Muslims.

The MYL-S Halifax team delivers these study circles in a informal way as we have seen over the years that the youth love informal methods of learning, so therefore we use methods such as drama, solo narration, arts and crafts, group discussions, competitions etc. so we can all learn together in a fun and comfortable way.

A big well done and keep up this great continuous effort from MYLUK-S!!
