MWL Halifax hold Halqa Durood Mehfil at Minhaj Library Centre in Halifax

MWL Halifax sisters arranged Halqa Durood Mehfil at Minhaj Library Centre in Halifax. This Mehfil was held on 21st and 28th of November 2015.

Firstly sisters recited Durood Shareef for half an hour and total collection read of Durood Paak was 5300. Following that sister Nahid Shahid MWL Halifax Media Secretary recited Quran e Paak with tajweed and translation from Irfan-ul-Quran (1st raque of para three).

Sister Iffat Zahid MWL Halifax Membership Secretary quoted a few Hadith from Minhaj-ul-Sawi. Sister Robina Sagir MWL Halifax Dawah Secretary stated one chapter from the book Imaan.

This Mehfil then continued swiftly by the re-known Qaseeda Burda Shareef by Sister Sajida Iliyas MWL Halifax General Secretary, Alhamdullilah all sisters joined in aloud. Naat Shareef was recited by sister Safina Hussain MWL Halifax Vice President. Zikr with wazaif was presented by Sister Jamila Akhter MWL Halifax President.

DVD of Hazoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was played for ten minutes on the topic of ISTAQAMAT. The key point in the speech was to keep your heart in your control away from unnecessary worldly wishes as the Shaykh states "LIVE IN DUNIYA BUT DONT LET DUNIYA LIVE IN YOU, then you will get reward equal to Hajj Alhamdullilah.

Mehfil was ended with Salaam and Dua.

Fruit was distributed to the participants.

 

MWL Halifax sisters also arranged Halqa Durood and Imaan on Saturday 28th of November at Minhaj Library Centre.

Total Durood Shareef read was 2700 by all sisters. Sister Robina Saghir recited a passage of Irfan-ul-Quran with translation. Minhaj Us Sawi Hadith was read by Sister Iffaat Zahid MWL Halifax Membership Secretary, it related to blessings of Durood Paak MashaAllah.Sister Jamila Akhter read a chapter from book "Taleemati Islam".

Wazaifs and Zikr recited by Sister Nahid Shahid MWL Halifax Media Secretary MashaAllah everyone joined in very well. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's short talk was delivered by DVD for ten minutes, which was on the topic of ISTAQAMAT. Salaam was recited jointly by all sisters, Dua and Khatam Paak read by Sister Nahid Shahid.

Fruit Tabarak was distributed to all the sisters at the end.
