Halqa e Darood gatherings were held by MWL Burnley throughout Ramadhan. The Sisters gathered on 24th of June 2015, for one of their weekly circles. The importance of Ramadhan and how to benefit from this Holy month were highlighted throughout this Blessed month.
On 17 June 2015, the Burnley MWL Tanzeem held a Quran khawani to commemorate the first Anniversary of the Martyrs whom tragically lost their lives in the Model Town tragedy. A year has passed but still no justice has been served.
This Halqa-e-Darood mehfil takes place on weekly basis on Thursdays 1-2.30pm alternating between all the Sister’s from the tanzeem.
On 11th May 2014, the Minhaj Women League (Burnley) held a gathering of sisters to show their support for the 11th May Nationwide public protest held in Pakistan under the Leadership of Shaykh –ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Minhaj Women League (Burnley) set up a stall at the Family Fun Day Charity event which took place in Burnley Boys and Girls Club on the Saturday 15th of March 2014.
On Wednesday 19 February 2014, the Minhaj women league (Burnley) held a birthday celebration in honour of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s 63rd birthday.
