Quaid Day Celebrated by MWL Burnley

On Wednesday 19 February 2014, the Minhaj women league (Burnley) held a birthday celebration in honour of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s 63rd birthday.

The mehfil was opened with recitation of Darood sharif upon our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until all the sisters had gathered. This than commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Ghulam Fatima. A beautiful hadith was narrated by sister Raheela Zeb, who also recited a Naat of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

Sister Zahida Parveen (general secretary) spoke about the life long achievement of our beloved, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and all the outstanding contributions to the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran and guiding the Muslim Ummah. Sister Zahida Parveen addressed the audience regarding the importance of the contribution of their life and wealth in the name of Minhaj-ul-Quran to support our leader Shaykh-ul-Islam.

Greeting and salutation were recited upon the Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The mehfil concluded with a Dua for a long life and good health of Shaykh-ul-Islam. A celebratory birthday cake was also cut served amongst the audience.
