MWL Burnley held Mawlid-Un-Nabi ﷺ celebrations

A series of Mawlid-Un-Nabi Mehfils were celebrated by Minhaj Women League Burnley. These commenced on the 13th December 2015. The Mehfils were to mark the Blessed Birth of Our Beloved Prophet ﷺ.

The Mehfil started with the recitation of The Holy Quran by Sister Aaiza (Minhaj Youth League Burnley). The Mehfil was continued by melodious Naats being recited by Sister’s Aaiza and Rabia (Minhaj Youth League Burnley) who recited ‘Hazoor Saday Aainay’ with the daff. This was followed by Sister’s Zahida and Humaira (MWL Burnley) who enlightened the Sisters with ‘Kamlee Walay Aynay’. Sister Noshaza (President MWL Burnley) and Sister Shaheen (MWL Burnley) also participated in sending Praise upon Our Beloved Prophet ﷺ.

The Mehfil concluded with a DVD clip shown from ‘Wiladat e Muhammadi ﷺ by his Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. The speech highlights the importance of celebrating Mawlid Un Nabi. The Love of The Holy Prophet ﷺ, his family members, companions and saints is in fact the Love of Allah Almighty.

Greetings and Salutations were recited upon The Beloved Prophet ﷺ. Finally the Dua was made.

An elegant birthday cake was also cut and food was served on this joyous occasion.
