On 9th April 2017, Minhaj Women League Burnley organised a Mental Health workshop to raise awareness and inform women regarding the support available.

On Sunday 5 June, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women league (Burnley) held a peace workshop at Burnley Boys Club. This event was organised to bring the community together, in understanding the causes of radicalisation and how to counter these using the literature provided by renowned scholar, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, especially his Islamic curriculum on peace and counter- terrorism.

From the 25th of October 2015, MWL Burnley Tanzeem held consecutive Muharram mehfils. These were attended by twenty three Sisters.
The Mehfil began with melodious recitation of The Holy Quran by Sister Aaiza Iqbal (Youth League Burnley).

On 4th February 2017, Minhaj Women League Burnley held a workshop about cancer screening at a local community centre from 1-3pm. The aim of the event was to raise awareness about cancer and importance of cancer screening.

A series of Mawlid-Un-Nabi Mehfils were celebrated by Minhaj Women League Burnley. These commenced on the 13th December 2015. The Mehfils were to mark the Blessed Birth of Our Beloved Prophet ﷺ.
