Sister Asma recited Daroud Sharif and stared by congratulated all attendees and organisers on holding this beautiful mehfil.

She spoke about the verse of all declares rejoice o believers for all the mercies that have been bestowed upon you. What is this rejoicing? What is the biggest mercy that Allah has given to us?

The biggest mercy upon all mankind is Muhammad (saw).

Hence if he is the biggest mercy then according to the verse we should be rejoicing to this and this is done the shape of Milad. Allah also says that this rejoicing is better than collecting wealth. However the wealth, children and everything that has been given to us is a mercy but it nothing compared to the mercy of Muhammad (saw). Therefore those who deny this are denying the command of Allah and denying the command of Allah is called kufar. As a person who does not rejoice or feel happy on the birth of Prophet Muhammad (saw) is actually following the footsteps of Satan, because Satan cried on the day Prophet Muhammad (saw) was born.

The speech concluded at 3:15 after which Asr Salah was performed.

The mehfil was resumed after salah with Sister Rubina introducing Minhaj city to new sisters and the importance of Shaykh ul Islams messgae regarding the new city.
