On Wednesday 8th June 2011 the ‘Islamic Da’wah Course’ which is thought by Shaykh Muhammad Afzal Saeedi was launched online, providing a service to people who want to learn about Islam but couldn’t travel to MQI Bradford in person to benefit from the course.

This is the second run of the course which aims to educate adults on a diverse range of Islamic subjects, as well as the basics such as perfecting their Quranic Recitation (Tajweed).

The tajweed session started with Shaykh Muhammad Afzal Saeedi reciting surah Bakarah verse 91-101. The attendees followed by reciting after him and then in turn on their own. Further to this the class went through the translation of the verses from Irfan-ul-Quran and understanding the lesson taught within them which would benefit us if practiced in daily life.

Further to the tajweed session, the attendees learnt from Minhaj-us-Sawi, which is literary works on the saying and teaching of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.).

The third session was teaching in Fiqh, from the book Nur al-Idah.

The attendees of the class are increasing and even the MQI-UK VP for North England, Moazzam Raza attended and was extremely happy with the content being delivered and felt it was needy for everybody and crucial for self-development and understanding Islam and it’s true message with full references to Classical Islamic texts.

The class concluded by a supplication led by Shaykh Muhammad Afzal Saeedi.

The course will be broadcast LIVE every Wednesday from 8pm - 10pm, please follow the link on the banner on the home page of www.minhajuk.org
