Karbala Conference organised by MQI Walsall

On Monday 24th October, after Maghrib Prayer, there was a conference held in remembrance of the Martyrs of Karbala and to pay rich tributes to the Martyrs of Karbala.

Students of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall) were given the opportunity to showcase their talent. Following the performances of the students there was the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Wajid Mehmood. Muhammad Abdullah Mohiuddin Qadri told a verse from the Holy Quran along with its translation.

The audience were able to enjoy the praises of the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon Him) as well as the praises of Ahyl-ul-Bayt. During the praises of the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon Him) and the praises of Ahyl-ul-Bayt another students of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall), Qasim, delivered a talk regarding the tragedy of Karbala and the true concept of Shaheed.

After Isha prayer there were speeches made by Numan and Imran. Numan told the audience the ‘Virtues of Ahyl-ul-Bayt’. Imran talked about the tragedy of Karbala.

Finally, there was a speech by Professor Shabraz Khan concerning the key events during the Battle of Karbala.

Allama Ali Akbar gave a message to the audience in which he said that the message for the Muslim Ummah is that they should always support the righteous people and linked it with the current situation of Pakistan.

At the end there was a Dua made for the Muslim Community around the globe and especially for the Martyrs of Model Town and Martyrs of Karbala.
