Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri Sahib's visit to MQI Walsall [UK Tour 2016]


Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Sahib , president Minhaj-ul-Quran International visited Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Walsall On Friday 26th February, 2016 . He was received warmly by members of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall). Senior leaders of MQI (UK) who were present included Syed Ali Abbas Bukhari Sahib, Moazzam Raza Sahib, Ahmed Nawaz Sahib, and Dr Zahid.

The visit started off with a tour of the ongoing construction work at MQI (Walsall). After the tour he had a short meeting with MWL (Walsall). MWL and MYL –S showcased their achievements and their future plans.

After MWL and MYL-S meetings, the main programme started with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naats read by MYL-Brothers Usman Khan, Ahmad Hussain and Amir Hamza.

Later the President of MQI (Walsall) gave a formal welcome and introduction to MQI (Walsall). This was followed by a presentation on the vision and works of MQI (Walsall) by Allama Ali Akbar Qadri Sahib. After this a Member of MQI (Stoke) gave an introduction to MQI (Stoke) and spoke about the works which had been carried out by the organisation in Stoke furthermore he talked about the future works of the organisation.

Dr. Zahid sahib introduced about forthcoming Al-Hidayah in the University of Keele. He told that the main objectives are produce Muslim leadership for UK and Europe. He also told the audience that there are limited seats so everyone needs to book in time.

Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Sahib talked about the works of the Sahaba-e-Kiram for the Deen of Islam and how Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is following the Sunnah of the Sahaba-e-Kiram in producing Books, CDs and others to propagate the religion of Islam. He ended with a message in which he said, ‘you should try to double the amount of work in the coming years.’

The programme was a huge success. After the programme discussions took place which made it clear that the people thought that overall the programme was very good.
