Safeguarding Teacher Training held by MQI Walsall

On Thursday 28th January 2016, Minhaj-ul-International (Walsall) staff received Level 1 Safeguarding Training. It was delivered by a member from the Walsall Safeguarding Children Board Team. All teachers were in attendance. The training session was hosted by Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall).

Mr Wajid Mehmood (Deputy Head Teacher) said, “The training session was very informative and useful for staff because after this training I believe we can create an even better learning environment for the children.”

Mrs Mariea Ayub (Deputy Head Teacher) said, “I would like to thank Walsall Safeguarding Children Board for providing this training and it was a great because it has refreshed our memory on safeguarding.”

The training included Physical and Emotional Neglect, how we should establish links with Multi Agencies and many more.
