MWL Walsall's Annual Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ

On Sunday 24th January 2016 Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Walsall held their annual Mehfil-e-Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ. It was an extremely sparkling gathering of almost 300 women and children. All dressed in their best as they came together to celebrate the birth of the most blessed of Allah’s creations.

The proceeding of the programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Tehreem followed by Hamd and Naat by Sister Noor Fatima.

Various sisters recited beautiful Naats praising Aaqa ﷺ , but the Mehfil was lifted by the Minhaj Naat Council Sisters from Derby.

Sister Mussarrat Hussain MWL UK general secretary from Walsall was stage secretary and kept everything running smoothly.

Then MYL-sisters from Walsall read a few beautiful Naats to praise Nabi-e-Kareem ﷺ with sister Zahra Hussain Vice President of MYL UK-sisters from Walsall giving an eye opening speech on the merciful character and nature of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The spirituality and divine peace that was felt by all was increased by the most outstanding speech by the Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League UK from London. She started off her speech with the recitation of ayah" wa ma arsalnaka illa rahmatal lil alameen" that Allah Almighty being Rabil Alameen sent Rasoolullah ﷺ to his creation as Rahmatal lil Alameen. Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi then spoke about the questions that are asked in the grave about our lord, religion and Prophet ﷺ in the light of Quran and Hadith. A believer answers the questions but an unbeliever cannot. On the ending note she gave the message of Mission Minhaj-ul-Quran and urged the sisters to work for our beautiful Deen and spread the love of our Prophet ﷺ everywhere.

The event concluded with heartfelt Dua by Sister Gulshan-e-Fatima (President of Minhaj Women League Midlands Zone UK)

Food was served at the end and everyone left the venue with a smile on their faces.
