MWL Sandwell hold Mawlid-un-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ celebrations

On Sunday 28th December Sandwell Minhaj Womens League UK held a Mawlid-un-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ celebration at Corbett street mosque in Smethwick. We started off with Tilawat which was recited by sister Aisha followed by nasheeds by sister Aisha and sister Nazia.

Our stage secretary sister Nabila played a CD in the voice of Shaykh-Ul-Islam Dr Muhammed Tahir-Ul-Qadri in which it was explained the importance of celebrating Mawlid. Our speaker sister Ruksana Parveen gave a beautiful speech on the Blessings of celebrating Mawlid-un-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم in Urdu. Sister Rosina also gave us a speech in English and informed us of the importance of reciting Darood Shareef and also described the Holy Prophet Muhammed صلى الله عليه وسلم we finished with Salaam on the Beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ and Dua by Sister Zinnat. Food was served to all attendees.
