On Sunday 28th February 2016 Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League presented a programme in the Remembrance of Ghaus-ul-Azam R.A at the local mosque at Corbett Street in Smethwick. Sister Sadia Bibi who is the President of Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League hosted the programme. Firstly Sister Aisha Kosar recited the Holy Quran followed by nasheeds.

After that we played a clip from a DVD lecture by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammed Tahir-ul-Qadri which was about how we should create an Islamic environment in our homes so that our children can mirror our behaviour and keep on the straight path also Insha’Allah. We asked questions about the DVD that we'd played and rewarded the ladies who answered correctly with a copy of Shaykh-ul-Islam’s DVD.

Sister Shumaila Ali delivered a speech in English about the miracles of the Great Saint Ghaus-ul-Azam R.A. Our Guest speaker was our respected sister Ruksana Iqbal from Birmingham Minhaj Women’s League. Sister Ruksana gave a speech on Urdu about Ghaus-ul-Azam R.A also. We finished with Salutations and prayer.
